Krishna Janmashtami Celebration 2025

The Krishna Janmashtami celebration was a vibrant gathering filled with devotion, joy, and community spirit. The evening began with soulful chanting by the ISKCON President and inspiring words from the Embassy, setting a beautiful tone for the festivities. The hall came alive with the energetic Dahi Handi, melodious recitation of shlokas, and an uplifting Geeta Saar. Little children dancing to Krishna’s songs added a touch of innocence and festive cheer, truly bringing “life to a lifeless hall.”Delicious food stalls lined the space, offering a variety of treats, while volunteers worked tirelessly to make the event smooth and memorable. It was an evening of togetherness, devotion, and celebration — a true reflection of the Janmashtami spirit.
Yog For Sewa

Sewa Europe’s Switzerland chapter recently hosted a Yoga for Sewa session, bringing together participants to experience yoga as a path of self-development and selfless service. The session highlighted how yoga, beyond being a physical practice, embodies harmony, discipline, and compassion — values at the heart of Sewa.
A special session for children was also conducted to help them build confidence, enhance focus, develop mindfulness, and nurture a healthy, sustainable body through simple yogic practices.
Under the guidance of experienced instructors, participants engaged in rejuvenating asanas, breathing practices, and reflections on how yogic principles can be applied in daily life and community service. The initiative aims to inspire more individuals to connect inner wellbeing with social responsibility, truly living the spirit of “Yoga for Sewa.”
