Welcome to the website of Sewa International Europe (“SEWA Europe”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

By accessing or using our website, making a donation, registering for an event, purchasing a ticket, volunteering, or using any of our online services, you agree to the applicable terms described below.

SEWA Europe is a volunteer-driven non-profit humanitarian organisation working in areas including disaster relief, education, community development, health, wellbeing and social support.

1. Donations

Donations made through our website are intended to support SEWA Europe's humanitarian, educational, community and development initiatives.

When a donor selects a particular project or campaign, SEWA Europe will make reasonable efforts to use the donation for the selected purpose. Where circumstances require, or where a project has received sufficient funding, SEWA Europe may redirect funds to another closely related humanitarian or charitable activity.

Donations are voluntary contributions and are not payments for goods or services unless expressly stated otherwise.

2. Payment Terms

Payments and donations made through the website may be processed through third-party payment providers.

The applicable payment method, amount and frequency will be displayed before the transaction is completed.

For recurring donations, the donor authorises SEWA Europe and/or its payment provider to process the agreed recurring amount according to the selected frequency.

The donor is responsible for ensuring that the payment information provided is accurate and valid.

3. Refunds and Cancellation of Donations

Because donations are voluntary charitable contributions, cancellation or refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis.

For recurring donations, donors may request cancellation of future payments at any time. Cancellation will stop future recurring payments but does not automatically reverse donations that have already been processed.

4. Events and Tickets

For events organised by SEWA Europe, the applicable event page will specify the ticket price, registration conditions, cancellation policy and other relevant information.

Where tickets are stated to be non-refundable or non-transferable, the purchase will be considered binding.

If an event is cancelled or substantially changed by SEWA Europe, registered participants will be informed and any applicable refund arrangements will be communicated separately.

5. Courses, Training and Other Paid Activities

Where SEWA Europe offers courses, training programmes, workshops or other paid activities, the specific registration page will state the applicable price, duration, cancellation conditions and participation requirements.

If a booking cannot be cancelled or transferred, this will be clearly stated before payment.

6. Delivery of Services

For donations, there is no physical delivery.

For events, courses, workshops or other services, participation details, dates, locations and access instructions will be provided on the relevant event or registration page.

7. Complaints

If you have a complaint concerning a donation, payment, event, service or other interaction with SEWA Europe, please contact us:

8. Dispute Resolution

We encourage donors, participants and other users to contact SEWA Europe directly so that any concern can first be resolved amicably.

Where applicable, disputes concerning services provided by the Finnish organisation will be handled in accordance with applicable Finnish and European Union law.

9. Changes to These Terms

SEWA Europe may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our activities, services or applicable requirements.

The latest version will always be published on this website.
