Viksit Bharat Run 2026 brings Indian Diaspora together in Frankfurt

The Consulate General of India, Frankfurt, in collaboration with Indian associations, organised the Viksit Bharat Run 2026 on September 20, 2026, at the Deutscher Fußball-Bund (DFB) Campus in Frankfurt.

The event highlighted the strong connection between the Indian community in Germany and India’s national aspirations. Consul General of India in Frankfurt, Ms. Shuchita Kishore, welcomed the participants and thanked them for their enthusiastic participation. She encouraged the community to make committed efforts towards the goal of a developed India by 2047.

Hosted at the home of German football, the DFB Campus, the Viksit Bharat Run 2026 combined sports, community participation and national aspirations, giving the Indian diaspora in Frankfurt an opportunity to celebrate India’s journey while promoting an active and healthy lifestyle.

The community event brought together members of the Indian diaspora to promote fitness while celebrating India’s development journey and the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

A run for Viksit Bharat

Held from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, the event encouraged participants to come together in the spirit of community and contribute to the broader vision of building a developed India by 2047. The Sewa Europe team also took part in the run, joining the initiative in Frankfurt.

Participants joined the run with a pledge to make individual contributions towards India’s progress while carrying forward the country’s traditions, culture and heritage.
